AwwaRF is committed to maintaining your privacy. It is our policy that personal information, such as your name, postal and e-mail address, or telephone number, is private and confidential. To help you understand our privacy policy, we are providing this notice.

The personal information we collect

Your Internet provider's domain name and browser are automatically recognized by our Web server. This information becomes part of our Web site statistics and is used to determine the value of our Web pages and to monitor our Web traffic. The information does not identify you personally. We do not acquire any more information about Web site visitors than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely.
Information you submit on our Web site forms, such as your name, phone, e-mail, address, etc. is stored on our servers for business processes such as event registration.

How We Use Your Information

We do not share Web site visitor information with any other organizations. Web site files and tables are accessible to only those employees or AwwaRF technical providers who require it to perform their jobs.
Information you enter on the Web site such as your name, company, e-mail, phone, etc. is used by AwwaRF staff to respond to your feedback and process your requests. We train all of our employees about the importance of privacy. We give access to information about Web site visitors only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs.
Subscribers and affiliated organizations' information is kept on file and used by AwwaRF staff, when necessary, for standard business operations.
When volunteering to participate in a research project or on a committee, your contact information will be shared with the necessary involved parties, such as our project managers and the principal investigator for a project.
Utilities that volunteer to participate in a project will have their contact information posted on the Web site in the Request for Proposals (RFP) section and the utility name will appear in the participant list on the project snapshot.
Individuals and organizations who submit a case study of their use of AwwaRF research will have their names and a contact email posted if permission is given during the case study interview.
Subscribers have the option to sign up for our e-mail newsletter, Research Direct™. The e-mail you provide will be used for this purpose. E-mail newsletters can be "unsubscribed" by following the link posted at the bottom of every newsletter. E-mail communication that is essential to our business operation cannot be excluded.
Subscribers may update their personal information, such as e-mail address, by logging into the subscriber-only section of our Web site.

Subscriber-only area
Entry into this area requires a username and password. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your username / password and restricted from sharing that password with non-AwwaRF subscribers. Upon login to this area, a "cookie" is placed on your computer. The cookie is a small program that resides on your computer hard drive and is for use with this Web site only.
