Utility Participation in Research Volunteer Form
The Awwa Research Foundation is seeking utilities that are interested in participating in research projects. Utilities may volunteer to participate in certain research projects. Volunteer utility involvement may include such activities as:
  • responding to surveys
  • providing water quality data
  • performing analyses
  • taking water samples
  • loaning equipment and staff

In return, participating utilities will:

  • gain first-hand information resulting from the research study
  • develop contacts with experts in the field of study
  • contribute to applied practical research to benefit the water community

A utility may volunteer for a specific project(s) of interest by submitting the form below. AwwaRF supplies a list of utilities interested in volunteering to researchers in the request for proposals for solicited projects. A list of interested utilities is also given to partner organizations for sole-source partnership projects. Your utility is under no obligation to participate if you sign up, and your level of participation is entirely up to you. If asked to participate by several proposers on the same project, your utility may choose to participate with any, all, or none of them.

Because selection of utility participants is the responsibility of the researcher, the Foundation cannot guarantee that your interest in a project will assure your participation. However, if your utility is not selected to participate, we encourage you to consider volunteering again later. Opportunities for utility participation are posted at this location as they become available.
