The relevance
and success of the Foundation's research program depends greatly
on input from subscribers and other stakeholders in the drinking
water community. Through this input, the Research
Advisory Council (RAC) and Foundation staff are able to more accurately identify the
high-priority issues of the drinking water community. In turn,
these issues - needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
- serve as the basis of the research planning process, in which
specific projects are developed and implemented.
