The Foundation's research programs are funded by its subscribers (water
utilities, consultants, and manufacturers), with additional support from
federal agencies. The programs are further supported by hundreds of volunteers
who serve on various advisory and oversight committees. Each research
program focuses on a particular area of need within the water supply community.
Collectively, the programs address the Foundation's mission of advancing
the science of water to improve the quality of life.
